Vicars and Tarts

As made popular with the movie Bridget Jones, vicars and tarts is a saucy way of getting all the women in as little as possible clothing. Men if you really want to stand out from the crowd and show your sense of fun and pull more women, why do you not dress as a tart rather than a vicar.

Disney

Everyone loves Disney, not just children, so why not organise a party dressed as your favourite Disney characters. One way of getting noticed at a disney fancy dress party would be coming as a rat catcher for Mickey Mouse bless him.

Gangsters and Molls

This theme party is pretty similar to the vicars and tarts theme, but a good excuse to carry around a toy gun. Massive warning though, even though you are wearing fancy dress costumes, if you are carrying a toy gun with todays shoot first and ask questions later policy, try not to be too in character if you are in a shop or walking down the street, you might end up being shot.

Halloween

In America adults and children alike dress up and have parties every year, in the UK we are more reserved about Halloween mainly due to religous values. More Halloween parties are usually held in clubs and bars, but still a fantastic way of enjoying yourself once a year.

Harry Potter

This would be an excellent fancy dress party for fans of JK Rowlings tale about a boy who joins Hogwarts to learn how to be a wizard. If you run a Harry Potter website, and are throwing a party for some of your members, then what else should the party be dedicated to?

School Reunion

At the time of writing this idea, due to advertising on friends reunited I was contacted for a school reunion. If anyone out there is reading this the Broadoak School 1986 leaving year is being held on the 13th of October in the Liquid Lounge in Richmond Street, Weston super Mare. Now there I was thinking what to wear, a suit, some designer trendy gear and try and look good, but then I thought why not fancy dress? In all honesty the costume that I had looked at tonight was only £25.99 with a rather expensive £4.99 for delivery but for £31.00 and showing that you have a sense of humour and not out to try and impress is priceless. So instead of paying about £100 for a top, jacket, trousers, shoes etc then I've decided to go in school boy uniform instead. Hell why not, it's been 21 years since I left school so why not :)
